The Practice Needs Assessment... The First Step

ProgramsMost of our clients begin here.The assessment is a one and a half day on-site consultation visit that allows us to grasp the uniqueness of YOUR PRACTICE. The end result will be a customized training plan for you and your team.

The Practice Needs Assessment $3500
(Solo Practice Fee)

A Comprehensive Questionnaire

The initial step of the assessment is to complete a short workbook. Typically, both the doctor and team are involved in completing this information. Areas included are a practice profile, personal and professional goals, systems questions, productivity history, marketing and new patient background, staffing and leadership evaluation, and cash flow management information.

An On-Site Consultation Visit

On day one, MOSAIC will be on-site to observe a typical day in your practice. We will listen to and observe the communication between your team and your patients. We will ask questions about your systems. We will have you show us how you run your systems. We ask that you schedule a New Patient Visit for us to observe. The areas which are assessed include:
  • Practice Management Systems (Clinical and Business Areas)
  • Teamwork and Communication Skills
  • Practice Image and Facility Utilization
  • Customer Service Skills and Systems
  • Overhead and Budget
  • Productivity and Profitability
  • Management and Leadership Skills

Training Plan Development

To support the achievement of your goals, a customized training plan for the implementation of management systems and leadership changes is developed with the doctor. This plan is designed as a result of the findings from the needs assessment. It may include a combination of on-site visits, small group workshops, and monthly telephone coaching.

Fees and Financial Arrangements

Our fees are based on the number of customized training days suggested for your practice. Consulting programs are generally presented over one to two years. We offer monthly financial arrangements for our services. To support implementation, follow up telephone calls are included.

The Practice Development Series
Customized Training Program

By utilizing MOSAIC Management Group principles, Pam helps practices achieve new levels of success through the Practice Development Series. The Practice Development series will show you how to gain control of your practice. This series is not a cookie-cutter approach to practice management but sound systems and techniques that will be tailored to your unique situation. Under the training plan developed during your practice needs assessment, Pam will provide you with information, coaching, and support to enable you to fully integrate changes that result in the achievement of your goals. To ensure implementation, you receive a customized training plan called the Practice Development Series. This includes:
  • Intensive training, including hands-on, in-office training, and dynamic seminiars
  • Telephone coaching and support throughout your Practice Development Series

Is a stand-alone program what you need for your dental society, practice, or study club?

Your practice may not need a complete management development program. You may have most or all of your systems and procedures functioning well and contributing to your overall productivity and profitability. It's not uncommon, however, for even the most successful practice to need help from time to time in just one or two areas, like hiring new employees or holding successful staff meetings. If that sounds like you, MOSAIC can also offer a series of one-half to one-day stand-alone training sessions on these common areas of interest.

Telephone ConsultationsSometimes doctors are not ready to begin a management program, but have questions pertaining to team, leadership, fees, systems, productivity, or profitability.

If that applies to you, please call. I am happy to discuss these issues and concerns with you via telephone. I understand there may be any number of areas for discussion, including:

There is no charge for an initial telephone consultation. If together we decide that additional and longer telephone appointments would serve your needs well, we can discuss fees for future calls.
